Preparing for Permanent Eyeliner and Healing
Come with clean lashes and no eye makeup. Lash extensions have to be removed before the appointment, and a lash lift or tint should be done either two weeks before or four weeks after. Leave contact lenses at home and bring your glasses, and skip alcohol and heavy caffeine for 24 hours before.
Expect mild puffiness for the first day or two, which is normal around the eyes. Fine flaking follows between days three and seven, and the line looks softer once it settles. No mascara, eye makeup, or contact lenses until the flaking has finished, usually about ten days.
