Question 1

How long do permanent makeup results last?

Accepted Answer

Permanent makeup typically lasts 1 to 3 years depending on the technique, skin type, and aftercare. Nano brows last 1 to 2 years, while lip blush can last 2 to 3 years. The color softens a little every year, and when to refresh it is up to you.

Question 2

Is permanent makeup painful?

Accepted Answer

Most clients experience minimal discomfort. A topical numbing cream is applied before the procedure, and most describe the sensation as light pressure rather than pain.

Question 3

What is the healing time for permanent makeup?

Accepted Answer

Initial healing takes 7 to 14 days, and final results appear after 4 to 6 weeks once the skin fully heals.

Question 4

How much does permanent makeup cost in Boston?

Accepted Answer

Pricing varies by technique. An online or phone consultation is free. An in-studio consultation is $50, and that amount is credited toward your procedure if you book.

Question 5

Do I need touch-ups after permanent makeup?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A perfecting session 4 to 8 weeks after the first appointment is part of the procedure and costs half the price of the first session. A refresh more than a year later is priced as a new procedure.

Question 6

Can permanent makeup be corrected or removed?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you have uneven, faded, or discolored permanent makeup from a previous artist, Olesya offers correction and redesign, or gradual removal if you'd prefer a fresh start.

Question 7

How do I choose the right permanent makeup artist?

Accepted Answer

Look for a strong before-and-after portfolio and proper technique for your skin type. At Subbot Beauty, every client works directly with Olesya: no rotating staff, so you always know who is creating your results.
